Dont eat that!!!!

I don't know what it is about doing something totally opposite of what your parents tell you. Ava totally gets the biggest kick out of it. So we play along...
"Whatever you do, don't eat your sandwich!!!" and she eats it.
"Whatever you do, don't eat your grapes!" and she eats them.

Today when we were eating lunch (and trying to trick Ava into eating hers) every time we'd tell her not to eat her grapes, she'd laugh hysterically and pop one in her mouth. She's pretend to chew and then pop the grape back out onto her plate and laugh even harder. I have to admit it was funny. Polite? Not exactly. Showing good table manners? Not exactly. Something you want to see her do in public? Not exactly. But funny? Yes. I just about died though when I realized she was "sharing" her grapes with Joey. All of her grapes. Even the ones that she had previously had in her mouth. And then to top it all off? After about every grape had been in her mouth, and she was tired of "playing" she turned to her brother and said, "you can have the rest Joe."

She knew what she was doing. Pulling one over on her big brother. The same big brother who tried to give her a wet willy this morning. Slobbered all over his finger and stuck it right in her ear. She was just getting him back.

Charming? Not exactly. Brilliant? You betcha.
