The 2009 Challenge

this year I am challenging myself to do many things.... to eat better, to exercise more, to spend more time playing, and less time cleaning up after the kids, to spend better quality time with Ken, to register for classes, to get some old debts paid and be in a better financial place, to open a business, and just simply to enjoy life more! I want to take more pictures and take more joy in the simple things in my life. So... I am going to give myself another challenge to do a blog-a-day.

My plan is to take at least 1 picture everyday of something I am taking joy in...and post and blog about it here! Sounds fun, right?!

At first I was tempted to use my raspberry smoothie post as today's joy (because I certainly felt a strange joy in it, LOL) but I decided to do something different. Plus, I didn't take a picture of my yummy smoothie anyway....

As I was typing this post, this lamp shade was sitting on my computer desk. It seems a button came loose and so it needs to go to the super glue hospital and be re-applied...

Why would a lamp shade bring me joy? Kayla made this for us for Christmas. It sits on its own little white mini lamp and is the cutest thing ever. I just love it! Cutest thing ever.... and something I just love....hmmm...who does that sound like? Wish I could take a picture of her today instead. Cant wait until we see her in March!
