we found out I was pregnant for Joey!
I had to work at Hallmark that day, and while I was there I kept having to run to the bathroom to pee... and then it hit me that I didnt remember when I had my last period, and I had had a pretty emotional Christmas (crying over silly things, happy things, EVERYTHING!)
So after I got out of work I stopped at Walmart and bought a pregnancy test. I didnt say anything to Ken about it.... just went home, and got in the shower because we were going out that night. I poas'd before I hopped in, and when I got out the BFP was staring me in the face.
We definately werent trying to get pregnant, so I was just stunned. I wrapped myself up in the towel and went out in the living room and told Ken I had to tell him something. When he asked what? I told him I loved him. I just couldnt make myself say it. LOL. "Ok, I love you too, what are we going to do tonight?" "I have to tell you something else. I think I'm pregnant." Then he asked "why do you think that?" and I said "because the test I just took told me I am." LOL
I still smile thinking about it. Even though we werent trying we were ecstatic! So I spent the rest of the night sipping water at the bar.
It was the happiest New Years Eve of my life!
Tonight, we will ring in the New Year with Uncle Matt who is visiting from Michigan for the week. We'll probably play cards and drink some fun drinks, while the kids either play or watch movies. I'm hoping I make it to midnight!
