Well, we are back in Maryland after a long weekend visit to Michigan for turkey and black friday fighting... I mean shopping.
Mom and Jessica and I brought Annie along for the ride this year so she was lucky enough to see me get shoved over a handheld Leapster. (Seriously, people, I'm sure its a cool toy, but do you think its really that cool? Furthermore, what a great lesson for your 4 year old. The gift tag should read "I really wanted you to have this toy, so I shoved another mommy who was lucky enough to snag one." Maybe a book on manners should be at the top of your list next year!)
After that, we really had a great time though! We got a lot of great deals - mostly everyone else shopping for my children - and Joey (get ready to puke!) is going to realize his dream of having 14 Transformers on Christmas morning. Hopefully it will make him break out in his own little version of the Transformers song... it is the cutest thing!
We got back to Maryland Monday evening and I have been nursing a house of sick babies ever since. :( Its just no fun being sick!
Fortunately, I am feeling better now and the kids are getting there. Just in time for a visit from Aunt Jessica! She's flying in tonight for the weekend and I am so excited to show off our new place and have my sister around! In so many ways we are like polar opposites, and then in the only way that really matters she is like my lifelong best friend. I am counting down the hours until she gets here!!!
In the meantime, I am buried in mountains of laundry and valleys of messy bedrooms. I have carpets to vacuum and bathroom floors to scrub. Time to get busy!

I can't believe you got shoved! I've never been shoved, but people don't have any more sympathy on an 8-months-pregnant woman with a toddler than they do on anyone else it seems! Have fun with your sister, and let's try to get together soon!
