AND THE WINNER IS....

The breakfast pierogi's!!!!

They were so good! We actually ended up having them for dinner last night instead of breakfast and they were great! We'll definately be making more of them! Rather than the traditional way of frying them, we skipped the onions and melted cheese on top. They were so yummy! I told Ken we should add some hashbrowns and peppers next time and have skillet pierogi's!

During the day yesterday, we visited the Country Mill in Charlotte, where we went on a "haunted" hayride and picked our own apples from their orchard. Joey loved picking apples, it was so funny as he'd put one in the bag, he'd take a good look at it and say "thats a good one" Hopefully that means we wont find any worms in our apples! Ava wasnt really into picking them... she was more into eating them as we went, and Jacob sat on my shoulders and munched away on one too.

Tonight we are going to carve pumpkins. I'm not sure who is more excited... the kids who think they get to use the knives or Ken who just wants to eat the seads. Hopefully my camera will cooperate and I can get a few pictures to share!
