Need to get back in swing of things....

These last few months have been tiring, nauseating, and just plain ick... but for very good reason!  Its hard on your body to grow a healthy baby!
We found out in May that we are expecting a baby this winter.... and are now 10.5 weeks into the journey!  As I approach the end of the 1st trimester, I am happy to report my stomach has started to settle.... I can eat now! but I dont know that the fatigue will ever go away!  With the demands of a 2 year old, a 4 year old, and a 5 year old (and right now an 8 year old!), I am just wiped out!  I am hoping that my energy starts to come back soon...my poor kids need to enjoy the summer!
Kayla got in town on Saturday, so we have been busy settling into a new routine again.  I try to keep things as normal around here as possible while trying to make the changes on her easier.  Its hard to go through this every couple of months...hard on her and hard on us.  We thought it would get easier with time, but the more time passes, it becomes more and more difficult.  A little birdie told us there may be a move back to Michigan in store...so we are keeping our fingers crossed and praying that it happens, and that it happens sooner than later!
Tonight my sister is coming into town, so I am anxious for a girls night!  It will just be for a few hours, but I am excited to get out of the house without worrying about who is buckled in where, and maybe we can even go to a few places that dont have shopping carts!  There are some cute boutiques and 2nd hand shops downtown I have been drooling over since we moved here, so maybe we will head that way.  Or maybe to Jo-Ann's.  Or maybe to..... ahhhh! The possibilities are so exciting! :)  I havent told Ken yet, but I know he will love having an evening alone with the kids too....they all love their Daddy time!
We have a busy month ahead of us.... with baby showers and weddings, and hopefully a weekend getaway with all the kids... but I am going to try to be better at journaling things along the way...it always feels so good to write things down!

I'm glad you're feeling better! It's SO nice when that passes. You start to wonder if you're ever going to feel normal again! I found my fatigue came in waves through my whole pregnancy - SO annoying! Just when I was feeling on top of the world it would hit me again! Ugh!

I know what you mean about sharing what goes on. I have gotten so bad at updating my blog regularly. I'm going to try more, too!
