Halloween, a few weeks late

Like I mentioned, we had a full week of Halloween. We had so much fun with the kids, but my favorite Halloween story is about Joey. On Thursday afternoon/evening we went to an event put on by the Lansing Jaycees at the Delta Township GM plant. They had doughnuts and cider, treat bags and pumpkins to decorate, trick or treating, a raffle, and a costume contest. When it was time to line up for the costume contest, they asked all kids 4 and under to line up and parade, so to speak, in front of the judges table. So we got in line. Jacob? check. Ava? check. Joey? Joey's not with us. At the same time, Ken and I plant eyes on Captain America at the judges table. Not in line with the other kids, but rather standing between the parade of kids and the judges table. Flexing his muscles. Staring them down. Needless to say, he won. As a judge I would have been scared too. LOL. His excitement when he won though was priceless. You would have thought it was Christmas morning and he layed eyes on Santa himself. Soooo cute.
Anyway, hope you enjoyed these few pictures. (Ava by the way, dressed up as something different every night. She is STUBBORN, a girl who knows what she wants. What a goof!)
