I swear Jacob is changing so much all the time and doing so many new things everyday. This last week or so, he has been finding things that he can hold onto to pull himself to his feet and then stands there, so proud of himself and his new accomplishment! Well this afternoon, Ava and Joey were watching a movie upstairs and Jacob and I were down here... getting caught up on some laundry as well as email and Jacob was exploring...
Well I turned around and apparently he had grown tired of exploring and wanted to watch a movie with his big brother and sister, so he was climbing the stairs. Holy cow, I about had a heart attack. But I have learned from the other 3 not too make any startling noises and not too make too big a deal so he doesnt fall back, so I crawled over to the stairs and just watched him in amazement. He had climbed a few steps so far and was standing, reaching for the next one.
It was so fun to watch him, but I am so sad that little Baby Jacob is getting so big! I want him to stay little forever, and he already just wants to be one of the kids. I guess its time for the baby gate again...
