I cant believe I havent posted on here in almost a month! Especially since so much has happened!
Kayla was here until August 22nd, so we tried to fill our time with as many fun things as we could. We went to 3 zoos while she was here - John Ball, Potter Park, and Toledo, went to Grand Haven, Lake Lansing, numerous parks and playgrounds, had a picnic day with Grandma and Grandpa Sulisz, and spent lots of time with Aunt Jessica and Zac and Annie. All in all, I'd say a pretty fun month! It was so great having her here, and of course we wished she didnt have to go back to Las Vegas. Maybe one of these days they will move back...
Just after she left, Joey turned 4! I cant believe how fast the last 4 years have come and gone, but I am amazed by everything that has happened in them. In 4 years, we have had 2 weddings, 3 kids, a year and a half deployment, a college diploma, and the list goes on and on. Holy cow!
