Joey is going on an airplane next week!!!! eeekkkk!!!!
My mom is flying home this weekend, and when she leaves Tuesday, Joey is going to fly back to Sioux Falls, South Dakota with her!
Then Ken and I, and Ava and Jacob are going to drive out there Wednesday night or Thursday for a long weekend! Its a loooong drive just for a long weekend (I think like 12-14 hours) but I havent been out there yet and I really want to see where my dad has been living and working before they head to his next job site in Texas in November. We'll be out there for Jacob's birthday, which I know will be nice for my parents, and then after we head back Joey starts preschool that week.
When I picked up Joey's ticket yesterday, I was beaming with pride that his name is on the ticket. He is not scared at all to go on the plane (probably because he's seen Kayla do it so many times, plus we've been to airports a lot with Ken's deployment, my mom and dad, etc) and I am sooooo excited for him (even though it just makes him seem like such a big boy to me!)
