We're still here! These last months have been CRAZY busy for us as we try to settle into our life back in Michigan.
So in a nutshell, this is what has been going on...
A few weeks after we got back, I got offered a job with the State of MI! Very exciting! Its a full-time position, with the opportunity for lots of overtime and is a huge blessing for our family although I am still struggling to get used to this new "normal" around here. After working 9-10 hours, I am exhausted when I get home, and long for the weekends! Not because I dont like my job, but because I went from seeing the kids 24/7 to seeing them a few hours in the evenings and on weekends. So now I CHERISH the weekends like never before! Its a big adjustment for all of us, but the kids love their daycare, and I "like" my job, so..... I think we'll continue with it!
Then just after I started my job, Ken got an offer for a job he had interviewed for LAST SUMMER. Its a great job for him, but he has to drive about an hour and a half each way to get to work each day.... so..... we arent going to stay in this area. Our plan within the next year is to move about 1/2 way between. I feel like life has officially actually started for us! Its wonderful too because in this state's economy and unemployment rate, our jobs are pretty secure. Thanks to God! We are so so so blessed!
Last weekend, we celebrated a new addition to our family (or rather a few new additions to our family!) Jessica and Rob got married Saturday! So now I officially have a new brother-in-law as well as a niece and nephew to boot! I am so thrilled! And especially thrilled because in less than 6 weeks I will have a brand new baby niece!!!! I CANT wait! Its safe to say I am just as excited about my sister's baby being born as I was with my own children! (as evidenced by my checking acct! sshhhh!)
Life is just so... well.... GREAT right now! We are working on a few things, life paying off debt and saving for a house of our very own, living a healthier life, and a few other very exciting things I just cant share right now, but life is good. VERY VERY good!

Yay, Jen's aliiive!! Good to hear from you. We went to "our place" the other day (Ultimate Playzone, lol) and I was wondering how you guys were!
