It seems like it has been soooo long since I have read anything other than college textbooks (if you count buying them....letting them fill with dust....and then returning them for a small fraction of what I paid for them as reading them...) and our HUGE collection of childrens books. I used to LOVE to read! So what happened? OK... probably dont really need to answer that one, do I?!
I guess I did go through a little reading spurt in the middle of all of this... became a big fan of Nicholas Sparks and Jane Green and Jennifer Weiner... and I guess I am having another reading spurt right now... thanks to the Twilight series (am currently on book #2... while I enjoy the books, they dont have the same "cant stop reading them even for an instant" feeling for me that they do for the rest of my friends). Now, I am also in the middle of "Start Your New Life Today" by Joyce Meyer and am gearing up to start reading "Marley and Me" too. 3 books at once?! How am I going to keep track?
Marley and Me strikes a heart string for me, after the loss of Roxy and a new worlds worst puppy that we have recently adopted into our family...Max. He somewhat resembles the dog on the cover and I am quickly remembering the frustrations of a new dog! (How quickly one forgets) So while I want to finish my other books before embarking on this one, its not likely. I cant wait to get my eyes on it :)
